Kentucky Articles of Incorporation (Domestic Nonprofit Corp) are the documents that must be filed with the Kentucky Secretary of State in order to register a nonprofit corporation in the state of Kentucky. The Articles must include the name of the nonprofit corporation, the purpose of the corporation, the name and address of the corporation's statutory agent, the number of authorized shares of stock, the address of the registered office, the names and addresses of the directors, and the name and address of the incorporated. There are two types of Kentucky Articles of Incorporation (Domestic Nonprofit Corp): the Original Articles of Incorporation and the Restated Articles of Incorporation. The Original Articles must be filed with the Secretary of State when the nonprofit corporation is first established, and the Restated Articles must be filed with the Secretary of State when the nonprofit corporation wishes to make changes to its Articles of Incorporation.
