The Kentucky Certificate of Retention of Debtor in Possession (CRDP) is a document issued by the Kentucky court system to allow a debtor to remain in possession of their property while under the protection of the court. This certificate allows the debtor to continue to use and possess their property, without fear of repossession by creditors. The CRDP is applicable in cases of bankruptcy, foreclosure, and other debt-related cases. There are two types of Kentucky Certificate of Retention of Debtor in Possession: the Voluntary Certificate, which is issued in cases of voluntary surrender of property, and the Involuntary Certificate, which is issued in cases of involuntary surrender of property.
