The Kentucky Stipulation of Facts & Waiver of Formal Adjudication Hearing is a legal document that must be completed by parents or guardians in order to resolve a Dependency or Neglect or Abuse case. This document outlines the facts surrounding the case, as well as the rights of the parties involved. The document includes a waiver of the right to a formal hearing, as well as an agreement to accept the terms of the stipulation. The parties involved must sign the document in order for it to be considered legally binding. There are two types of Kentucky Stipulation of Facts & Waiver of Formal Adjudication Hearing: Dependency and Neglect or Abuse. Dependency cases involve situations where a child is deemed to be dependent on the care and support of their parents or guardians, while Neglect or Abuse cases involve situations where a child has been neglected or abused by their parents or guardians.
