An Illinois Notice of Appeal is a document that is filed with an Illinois appellate court in order to appeal a judgment or order from a lower court. The Illinois Notice of Appeal must include the name of the lower court, the case number of the lower court, the date of the lower court’s judgment or order, the name of the appellant, the name of the appealed, and the name of the appellate court. The notice must also include a statement of the issues to be raised on appeal. There are two types of Illinois Notice of Appeal: a Notice of Appeal from Final Judgment and a Notice of Appeal from Non-Final Order.
