The Illinois Misdemeanor Alternative Prosecution Program (IMA PP) agreement Completion Order is a court order issued to an individual who has participated in the IMA PP program. The IMA PP program is an alternative to traditional criminal prosecution that allows eligible individuals to avoid criminal conviction and the stigma associated with it. The Completion Order is issued after all the terms of the agreement have been satisfied and all fees have been paid. There are three types of IMA PP agreement Completion Orders: Dismissal, Conditional Discharge, and Supervision. A Dismissal Completion Order means that the case has been dismissed without any further conditions or requirements. A Conditional Discharge Completion Order means that the charges are dismissed, but certain conditions must be met, such as completing community service or attending counseling. A Supervision Completion Order is similar to a Conditional Discharge, but includes a period of probationary supervision. Upon successful completion of the terms of the Supervision Completion Order, the charges are dismissed.
