An Iowa Notice of Appeal is a legal document that is filed with the Iowa Court of Appeals by a party involved in a civil case. It is used to initiate an appeal of a final ruling in a civil case from a lower court. The Notice of Appeal must be filed within 20 days of the entry of the judgment or order being appealed. There are two types of Iowa Notice of Appeals. The first is a Notice of Appeal from a District Court. This is used when appealing a decision from the District Court to the Iowa Court of Appeals. The second is a Notice of Cross-Appeal from the Iowa Court of Appeals. This is used when appealing a decision from the Iowa Court of Appeals to the Iowa Supreme Court.
