A Delaware Subpoena, Civil — Instructions (Out of State) is a legal document issued by a court in Delaware to compel a person or entity outside the state to appear in a Delaware court or to produce documents or other tangible evidence for use in a legal proceeding. There are two types of Delaware Subpoena, Civil — Instructions (Out of State): SubpoenDuckses Cecum and Subpoena Ad Testificandum. A Subpoena Ducks Cecum requires a witness to bring specified documents or other tangible evidence to the court. A Subpoena Ad Testificandum requires a witness to appear in court and give testimony. Both types of Subpoena must be served to the witness or entity being requested to appear or produce documents in accordance with Delaware law.
