The District of Columbia General Forms (SEB)-Notice of Appearance of Counsel (Legal) is a legal document that is used in the District of Columbia courts when a lawyer wishes to represent a party in a legal matter. It is used to provide information about the attorney or law firm that will be representing the party in court and to alert the court and all other parties in the case of the attorney's involvement. The Notice of Appearance of Counsel must be signed by the attorney and filed with the court.
