California Notice of Application for Recognition and Entry of Tribal Court Money Judgment is a document that is used to request the recognition and entry of a tribal court money judgment within the state of California. It is used when a tribe is seeking to have a monetary judgment from a tribal court enforced in the state of California. There are two different types of California Notice of Application for Recognition and Entry of Tribal Court Money Judgment: one for tribal court judgments for money damages and one for tribal court judgments for injunctive relief. The Notice for money damages must contain information regarding the parties involved, the amount of the judgment, and the date and place of the judgment. The Notice for injunctive relief must include the same information, plus a description of the relief requested. Both types of Notices must also include a copy of the tribal court judgment, the signatures of the parties involved, and a filing fee. Once the Notice has been filed, the court will consider the application and may enter a judgment recognizing the tribal court money judgment.
