Arizona Resignation of Statutory Agent is a document used to formally terminate a registered agent’s representation of a business in the state of Arizona. The document is required to be filed with the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) to update the entity’s records. There are two types of Arizona Resignation of Statutory Agent: Voluntary and Involuntary. A Voluntary Resignation is when the registered agent freely chooses to resign as the business’s statutory agent. An Involuntary Resignation is when the registered agent is removed from their position by the business or the ACC. The document can be filed online or by mail. The filing must include the name of the entity, the name and address of the registered agent, and the date of the resignation.
