Arizona Articles of Domestication is a set of documents that are filed with the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) to transfer a business entity from one state to another. This process is commonly referred to as “domestication” or “foreign qualification.” There are two types of Arizona Articles Of Domestication: domestication to form an Arizona limited liability company (LLC) and domestication to form an Arizona corporation. The Articles of Domestication must include the name of the entity, the name of the entity’s state of formation, the name of the entity’s registered agent in Arizona, and the name of the entity’s statutory agent. The Articles must also include a certificate of good standing from the entity’s state of formation. Additionally, the Articles must be signed by a person authorized to act on behalf of the entity. Once the ACC accepts the Articles of Domestication, the entity may begin conducting business in Arizona.
