The Alaska Non-Opposed Application to Continue Hearing is a form used to request a continuation of an administrative hearing in the state of Alaska. It is typically filed when a party does not oppose the other party's request for a hearing to be continued to a later date. The application must be filed with the presiding administrative law judge and must include the reasons for the request. There are two types of Alaska Non-Opposed Applications to Continue Hearing: (1) Application to Continue Hearing for Good Cause and (2) Application to Continue Hearing by Agreement. The Application to Continue Hearing for Good Cause is used when the party requesting the continuance has a valid reason for doing so, such as a lack of sufficient time to prepare for the hearing or a family emergency. The Application to Continue Hearing by Agreement is used when both parties agree to the continuance and stipulate to the continuance being for good cause.
