This form is a Renunciation and Disclaimer of a Joint Tenant Interest. The surviving joint tenant gained an interest in the decedent's share of the property on the date of decedent's death. However, according to the Mississippi Code, Title 89, Chapter 021, the surviving joint tenant has chosen to disclaim the entire joint interest. Therefore, the interest in the property will devolve as though the beneficiary predeceased the decedent. The form also includes a state specific acknowledgment and a certificate to verify delivery.
