This form offers education assistance to employees under certain circumstances. Courses must be from approved institutions of learning, such as accredited colleges, universities, and technical colleges or schools that offer certification in a field approved by employer. Also, the courses must be, in employer's opinion, directly or reasonably related to employee's present job or part of a degree program, or in line with a position that employer believes employee can reasonably achieve. If employee shall leave the employment of employer for any reason, within two years of any reimbursement, employee shall immediately repay all reimbursements back to employer.

Obtain an associate or higher degree from an accredited institution of higher education. This is defined as any associate degree program from an accredited institution of higher education. Pass Ohio's Parapro Assessment with a score of 456 or more out of a possible 480.

Ohio State employees who wish to take undergraduate classes using their tuition benefit must either be enrolled through the Admissions Office (if degree seeking) or through Extended Education.

Educational Benefits Domestic Partners enrolled in both undergraduate and graduate level courses. Employees enrolled in graduate level courses will be taxed for tuition benefits exceeding $5,250 in a calendar year.

To be eligible, an employee must be employed in a benefits eligible position on the first day of the semester for which the benefit is applied. Employees are permitted to take up to eleven undergraduate hours or eight graduate hours per term with supervisory approval.

The Ohio State Tuition Guarantee applies to incoming first-year undergraduate students at each of Ohio State's campuses. Students who transfer to Ohio State will also join the guarantee program if they began their college career as a first-year student at another institution in autumn semester 2017 or later.

Through an early assurance program (EAP), a student can receive a guaranteed spot in a prominent graduate program early in an undergraduate career. Some programs allow students to start graduate coursework early or to bypass acceptance tests.
