Description

The Educational Assistance Program for Employees is designed to support eligible employees in Nassau by covering costs associated with courses from approved institutions. To qualify, employees must complete at least one year of service and enroll in courses related to their current job or aligned with a potential career advancement. The program offers reimbursement for tuition and registration fees based on the grade received, with a specific cap on credits per semester. Employees must submit a reimbursement form and obtain prior approval from their supervisor and human resources. Upon course completion, an official transcript and proof of payment are required for reimbursement. Notably, if an employee leaves the company within two years of receiving reimbursement, they must repay the employer. This form serves attorneys, partners, owners, associates, paralegals, and legal assistants by providing a clear outline of the program requirements, ensuring compliance in form completion, and facilitating the understanding of eligibility and reimbursement processes.
