FAQ

Delete a Single Markup Select a markup you have created. Right-click to open the context menu. Select Remove.

Note: If you want to print your document without any comments, go to Review > Tracking > No Markup and then print your document.

If you use Save As and change the file format to PDF, there should be an Options button where you can turn off markup so comments and tracked changes won't go to the PDF.

To remove tracked changes in Word, go to the “Review” tab, and accept or reject each change individually or all at once. Then, turn off track changes. Lastly, save the document, and the tracked changes will be removed.

Turn the display of formatting marks on or off Go to File > Options > Display. button is turned on or off. Clear any check boxes for ones you don't want always displayed.

This red line is there because there are still changes in the document that need to be accepted (which can be minor changes like double spaces or a wrongly placed comma). Step 1: Go to the Review tab and click on 'Accept' (Word 2019). Step 2: Click on 'Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking'.

Tap twice on a comment in the document to select it. One the Review tab, tap Delete, and then do one of the following: Tap Delete to delete only the selected comment. Tap Delete All to delete all comments in the document.

In the displayed list of options, select Export. Select the PDF download type that best suits your needs: > Download as PDF ... Export document as a PDF without any comments included.

Open a document that contains comments. Select the Review tab in the ribbon. Under Delete, select Delete all comments in Document.
