Student Service Center Information on canceling registration and withdrawal procedures is available from the Registrar's Office at (916) 278-1000. Sacramento State students withdrawing from all classes in a given semester must receive approval from the Student Services Counselor before leaving the university.
To request a withdrawal, you will need to: Complete the online withdrawal request to withdraw from one or more classes. Provide a serious and compelling reason on your request form. Continue attending class until your request is approved. If your request is approved, you will receive a W on your transcript.
A: Contact the instructor (professor) of the course via email or during their office hours to ask permission to enroll. If the professor approves your enrollment, please submit an OnBase Add Form and attach the approval email.
Passing grades are: “A”, “B”, “C”, “D” and all associated with "+" or "-" as well as a grade of “CR” (Credit). If you receive a passing grade, then enroll in the class a third time, those units will not be eligible for financial aid.
1.06 Tentative Ruling System. (A) In all civil law and motion, writ, and other departments as designated, a Tentative Ruling System is utilized. On the afternoon of the court day before each calendar, the judge will publish a tentative ruling on each matter on the next day's calendar.
University Drop/Withdrawal Policy after 2nd Week of Semester Drops after the fourth week of the semester (Census date – September 23, 2024) are called withdrawals. Students wishing to withdraw from all courses should fill out the Semester Withdrawal Form available on OnBase.
How to Drop Classes. As a student, it is your responsibility to drop your classes. You can drop your classes in eServices or by visiting Sacramento City College's Admissions & Records Office. Review the academic calendar for the semester to see important drop deadlines.
Consensual withdrawal Where your client consents to your withdrawal, have them sign a Substitution of Attorney (in California it's Judicial Council Form MC-050). File and serve the signed Substitution on all parties to the action and you are out of the case.
All papers opposing a motion so noticed shall be filed with the court and a copy served on each party at least nine court days, and all reply papers at least five court days before the hearing. The court, or a judge thereof, may prescribe a shorter time.
