There are a number of ways researchers from select institutions can access the Libraries based on affiliation and research need. However, as a private institution, NYU Libraries is unable to offer members of the public access to our general collections.
What library benefits do alumni have? Alumni have single-day access to Bobst Library, but must register the week before using this form.
In the hopes of ensuring that alumni feel welcome on campus, the Office of Alumni Relations invites alumni to visit and enjoy access to Athletics facilities, NYU Box Office, and more.
To apply for access, your NYU sponsor must submit an access request form(opens in a new window) through JRNY, NYU's visitor management system. If you have questions about the application process contact your sponsor. If you are visiting Bobst Library, your sponsor must greet you at the entrance.

It depends on when you graduated nyu. They normally deactivate ID's a few months after graduation from what I've seen. You can try, it may be awkward if it doesn't work though.
