Eligibility & Required Documents Must be 18 years of age. Background check for provider and all household members aged 18 years and older. Fingerprint clearance card for provider and all household members aged 18 years and older. Current immunization records for provider and all family members aged 13 years and younger.
Private Preschools in Arizona, licensed through the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS), provide non-residential early education settings.
-12 months of child care experience and an N.A.C., C.D.A., or C.C.P. credential. Or -24 credit hours from an accredited college university including 6 credit hours in early childhood development.
You may care for up to three unrelated children in your home in addition to children related to you. The maximum number of unrelated and related children may not be more than 12.
If you provide care in your home, you can have 5-10 (up to 15 if 5 are related to provider, residents, or children for whom no compensation is received) depending on your county regulations for the type of home you live in. Ages: The exact number of children you can have is based on their ages.
