The California Dream Fund Grant Program (CDFG or Dream Fund) was created in 2021 by Senate Bill No. 151 (Government Code Section 12100.63) to provide microgrants up to $10,000 to seed entrepreneurship and small business creation in underserved small business groups that are facing capital and opportunity gaps.

You must obtain a business license from Alameda County only if you are conducting any type of business, including leasing residential and commercial property, or your business is based in an unincorporated area of Alameda County. DO NOT APPLY TO ALAMEDA COUNTY IF YOU OPERATE A BUSINESS WITHIN CITY LIMITS.

If total annual gross receipts are at least $175,500.00 but not more than $549,999.00. $176.00 if total annual gross receipts are at least $88,000.00 but not more than $175,499.00. $119.00 if total annual gross receipts are less than $88,000.00.

Applicants must meet the following criteria: -The business is currently active and operating. -Business began its operation, has been legally operating and is a registered business. -The owner is the majority owner of and manager of the qualified business.
