Submit at least one letter of recommendation. Counselors are not required to write a letter of recommendation for a student's application to Santa Clara, but you are welcome to do so if the student asks. We require at least one letter from an academic teacher.

And 5. SCU is a really big party school and the main thing people do here is drink. It is nice being close to SF and Santa Cruz, however, I've only gone a few times since I've been here. The area around Santa Clara is pretty dead, but the mall and Santana Row is fun for shopping and restaurants!
