With the Fill & Sign tool, you can easily fill in PDF forms, sign them and send your forms electronically right from your desktop, browser or mobile app.
Make sure that the security settings allow form filling. (See File > Properties > Security.) Make sure that the PDF includes interactive, or fillable, form fields. Sometimes form creators forget to convert their PDFs to interactive forms, or they intentionally design a form you can only fill in by hand.
Filling Out Non-Interactive PDF Forms with PDFpen Select the Text tool. Place the cursor where you want to add text. Next, drag to create a text box. Type your response in the text box you just created. Your text will appear in PDFpen's default font and color. Repeat the steps above to complete the remaining document.
Fill in fields in the Fillable PDF document. Once the form is ready, select the “envelope” icon in the upper navigation bar. Select the “Attach to Email” option in the left-hand navigation list. Select the email application you will be using and hit “send.”
Save and distribute your fillable PDF form. To send your form via email, simply click Distribute in the lower-right corner, choose Email as your method, and enter the email addresses of your recipients separated by semicolons.
It is a very common need to send forms to recipients to fill out and then return them via email. The simplest way to accomplish this is to add “Submit” button to the PDF form. Button is pre-configured to send a whole PDF file to the pre-defined email address of your choice.
