The PROFILE form is administered by the College Scholarship Service (CSS), the financial aid division of the College Board. The CSS PROFILE is required by many private colleges and universities to determine your eligibility for non-government financial aid, such as the institution's own grants, loans and scholarships.
By completing the FAFSA, you will be considered for federal and state aid such as Pell Grant, Cal Grant (California students), Federal Work-Study, and federal student loans. The CSS Profile is only completed by incoming freshmen and is used to offer institutional aid.
To minor in history, students must complete a minimum of seven courses, four of which must be upper-division. To declare or change a major, minor, or emphasis, fill out the SCU Registrar's Program Petition form.
The UC and CSU colleges do not require the CSS PROFILE. Many colleges also award non-need based aid in recognition of a student's particular abilities, talents or other criteria.
USC's CSS School Code is 4852.
SCU uses the Common Application® for all first-year applicants. In addition to the Application itself, we require the following materials: Official high school transcript (Grade nine through the most recently completed term) College transcripts (if applicable)
