Prescott jurors are on call for one calendar month and will check in every weekend for the month on call. The date to begin checking your reporting status can be found on the Summons that was mailed to you. Once you have made an appearance and/or served as a juror, you are no longer on call.

A request to be excused must be made in writing to the court that issued the summons and must be supported by appropriate documentation. Requests for excuse should be directed to the Jury Commissioner's Office. Your service is required as a prospective juror for a minimum of one day.

It is possible to be called again; however, Arizona law provides that you need not serve more often than once every two years. If you appear for jury selection and are selected to serve, you are exempt from serving again for two years.
