The National Archives building is open for research Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is closed Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal Holidays. Legislative archivists are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and can pull legislative records from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia is located at Third Street and Constitution Avenue, Northwest, Washington D.C. The building is located just west of the Capitol. There are three entrances to the building. The main entrance is located on Third Street, which is open 24 hours.

Timed-entry passes are only required at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the National Zoo, and the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City.
