All bar exam-related information is confidential. Once admitted, the names of Minnesota licensed lawyers are published in the Minnesota Attorney Registration System (MARS).
Anyone who studies law and passes the bar exam is classified as a lawyer. So, before hiring a lawyer, find out how far their practice extends. A lawyer's career is slightly more limited than an attorney's career.
If you received a scaled score of 145 or higher on the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) in the past 36 months and you were admitted in another jurisdiction on the basis of the examination in which you obtained that score, you may be eligible. See Rule 7B for additional requirements.
The Board of Bar Examiners publicly publishes the names of examinees that passed the Bar Exam, including their first, middle, and last names along with their city and state. The Board of Law Examiner's publishes a pass list that includes applicants' first and last names.

California:: Yes, but only for people who registered with the State Bar of California and have log in credentials to their website. Results are posted online and include successful applicants first and last names as well as their city and state.
If you do not remember your bar number, please use the State Bar's attorney search feature to locate bar number. Search for your name to view your public profile which will include your bar number. Note: Your public profile will also state your admit date.
Information on Bar Exam Results The February bar examination results are released in mid-April, and July bar examination results are released in mid-October.
California is one of the few states that allows aspiring lawyers to take the bar exam without going to law school. They can do this by instead completing a four-year law office study program to become a legal professional. However, this path is not an easy alternative to skipping law school that many may think it is.
