The New Jersey c. Application for Appointment of Successor Executor or Substitute Administrator C.T.A. is a legal document used to appoint a new executor or substitute administrator for an estate. This document must be filed in the county of the decedent's residence or the county where the estate is located. The document must be signed by the executor or substitute administrator, and witnessed by two qualified witnesses. It must also contain the name and address of the decedent, the name and address of the new executor or substitute administrator, the date of death, the names and addresses of the witnesses, and a statement of the facts of the appointment. There are two types of this document: one for succession of an executor and one for appointment of a substitute administrator.
