Wyoming Assignment of Trade Name is a legal document used to transfer ownership of a business name from one person or entity to another. The document is filed with the Wyoming Secretary of State and includes the name of the original and new owners and the trade name being assigned. The Wyoming Assignment of Trade Name must be signed by the assignor and notarized. There are two types of Wyoming Assignment of Trade Name: an Assignment of Trade Name from an individual to another individual or entity, or an Assignment of Trade Name from a corporation to an individual or entity.
