Plan Approval Request - Factory Built Structures and Commercial Coaches
Washington Plan Approval Request — Factory Built Structures and Commercial Coaches (WPAFBSCC) is a set of requirements that must be met for any factory built structure or commercial coach to be approved for construction in Washington State. It is a joint effort of the Washington State Building Code Council and Department of Labor & Industries. The WPAFBSCC includes a set of standards that must be met in order for a structure or coach to be approved. These standards include structural integrity, fire safety, energy efficiency, ventilation, and electrical safety. The two types of Washington Plan Approval Request — Factory Built Structures and Commercial Coaches are as follows: 1) Factory Built Structures: This type of WPAFBSCC applies to any factory-built structure, such as a mobile home, manufactured home, modular home, park model, or other similar structures. The requirements include structural integrity, fire safety, energy efficiency, ventilation, and electrical safety. 2) Commercial Coaches: This type of WPAFBSCC applies to any commercial coach, such as a motor home, travel trailer, fifth wheel, truck camper, or other similar coaches. The requirements include structural integrity, fire safety, energy efficiency, ventilation, and electrical safety.
