Washington Helps for Victims of Crime is a statewide resource network that provides assistance to victims of crime in Washington State. This includes providing emotional and financial support to victims, as well as connecting them with legal, medical, and other resources. The network has several programs to provide assistance to victims, including the Victim/Witness Assistance Program, the Crime Victim Compensation Program, the Legal Assistance for Victims Program, the Elder Abuse and Neglect Program, the Domestic and Sexual Violence Program, and the Stalking Intervention Program. Each of these programs offers specific services and support for victims of crime in Washington State, such as crisis counseling, legal aid, financial assistance, legal advocacy, and case management.
