A Washington Order is a type of court order issued in the state of Washington. It is a court order issued to protect an individual from abuse, harassment, or stalking, and to provide protection from further harm. It can be issued in cases of domestic violence, harassment, stalking, or other similar situations. There are three types of Washington Orders: Domestic Violence Protection Orders, Anti-Harassment Protection Orders, and Stalking Protection Orders. Domestic Violence Protection Orders protect an individual from physical or sexual abuse from a family or household member. Anti-Harassment Protection Orders protect an individual from unwanted contact, threats, or other forms of harassment. Stalking Protection Orders protect an individual from being followed, harassed, or threatened by another person. All Washington Orders provide for restraining orders, which serve to keep the abuser away from the protected individual and their family.
