Washington Case Cover Sheet Civil Cases are documents that must be filed at the beginning of any civil case in Washington state. These documents provide information to the court that is needed to process the case and are used to identify the parties, the case type, and the relief sought. The cover sheet is also used to assign the case to its proper division and to calculate the filing fee. There are three types of Washington Case Cover Sheet Civil Cases: Small Claims, General Civil, and Domestic Relations. Small Claims cases are for claims of $10,000 or less, General Civil cases involve claims between $10,001 and $75,000, and Domestic Relations cases involve divorce, child support, paternity, and other family law matters.
