This type of claim is intended to provide workers with financial compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and other costs associated with their injury. The elements of a turn-over claim under this Act include a description of the injury, the date and place of the injury, a detailed description of the events leading to the injury, the type of employment in which the injury occurred, the name of the employer/employee, proof of the employee's wages, medical expenses, and other damages, and any other relevant information. Additionally, the employee must prove that the injury was the result of the employer's negligence or failure to provide a safe worksite.
