Texas Magistrate Warning is a legal notice issued by a Texas magistrate or judge to an individual accused of committing a criminal offense. The warning informs the recipient of the offense that has been alleged and the consequences of further criminal activity. There are two general types of Texas Magistrate Warning: 1) The Rearrest Warning, which is issued when an individual is suspected of having committed a criminal offense but has not yet been arrested; and 2) Post-Arrest Warning, which is issued when an individual has already been arrested and is awaiting trial. Both types of Texas Magistrate Warning provide a warning and a notice of the consequences of further criminal activity.
