Tennessee GUARDIAN — Conservatorship Generally is a type of guardianship and conservatorship available in the state of Tennessee. It is a legal arrangement in which a person (the guardian) is appointed by a court to make decisions about matters such as legal, medical, financial, and/or personal affairs of another person (the conservative) who is unable to make such decisions. The guardian is responsible for providing oversight and guidance to the conservative and ensuring that their best interests are met. There are two main types of Tennessee GUARDIAN — Conservatorship Generally: guardianship of the person, which involves making decisions about the conservative's personal care and welfare; and guardianship of the estate, which involves managing the conservative's financial affairs.
