A Tennessee Request to Decrease Collateral Order is a legal document that is used to reduce the amount of collateral that the debtor must provide to the creditor. The Request must be filed by the debtor in order to decrease the amount of collateral required to secure a debt. There are two types of Tennessee Request to Decrease Collateral Order: 1) an Order to Decrease Cash Collateral, and 2) an Order to Decrease Non-Cash Collateral. The Order to Decrease Cash Collateral is used to reduce the amount of cash collateral that the debtor must provide to the creditor. The Order to Decrease Non-Cash Collateral is used to reduce the amount of non-cash collateral that the debtor must provide to the creditor, such as property, vehicles, or other assets. Both types of Order must be approved by the court before they can take effect.
