The South Dakota Annual Farm Report (Foreign LLC) is an annual report that must be filed by any foreign limited liability company (LLC) that owns or leases farmland in South Dakota. This report must be filed with the South Dakota Secretary of State's office before the first day of the month following the month in which the LLC was formed. The report includes information about the LLC's business activities, including the amounts of cash, investments, and assets the LLC owns, and the types of crops and livestock the LLC produces. Additionally, the report provides details about the LLC's management structure, its members, and any associated business entities. The South Dakota Annual Farm Report (Foreign LLC) must be completed and filed with the Secretary of State's office each year. There are two types of South Dakota Annual Farm Report (Foreign LLC): the Standard Report and the Small Farm Report. The Standard Report requires more detailed information and must be completed by all foreign LCS with farmland in South Dakota, while the Small Farm Report requires less information and is only for LCS with gross sales of $100,000 or less.
