South Carolina Noggins Rule 55 Standing Order is a document issued by the Supreme Court of South Carolina that outlines the requirements for equine infectious anemia (EIA) testing for horses in the state. The Standing Order requires horse owners to obtain a valid negative Noggins test at least every 12 months for all horses in the state. It also requires that a negative Noggins test be obtained for any horse that is sold, traded, or given away. Further, all horses being transported into the state must also have a valid negative Noggins test. This Standing Order applies to all horses in the state, regardless of breed, age, or purpose. There are two types of South Carolina Noggins Rule 55 Standing Order: one for horses that are stabled in SC and another for horses that are stabled out of state.
