A Pennsylvania Notice of Appeal is a legal document filed with the court to initiate an appeal. This document informs the court that one of the parties involved in the case would like to appeal the court's decision. The Notice of Appeal must be filed within 30 days of the original decision. The Notice of Appeal must identify the party filing the appeal, the court to which the appeal is being taken, the relief sought, and the reasons for why the court's decision should be overturned. There are two types of Pennsylvania Notice of Appeal — a notice of appeal from a court of common pleas and a notice of appeal from a county court.
