Oregon Notice of CIF Filing is a document that must be filed with the Oregon Secretary of State in order to form a corporation in the state of Oregon. It is a statement that the proposed corporation has filed its articles of incorporation (also known as a corporate charter) with the state. The Notice of CIF Filing contains basic information about the corporation such as its name, type, purpose, address, and the names and addresses of its directors. This document is required to be filed within 60 days of the date the articles of incorporation were filed with the Secretary of State. There are two types of Oregon Notice of CIF Filing: a Domestic Notice of CIF Filing and a Foreign Notice of CIF Filing. A Domestic Notice of CIF Filing is filed by a corporation that was formed in Oregon. A Foreign Notice of CIF Filing is filed by a corporation that was formed in another state but is doing business in Oregon.
