Oregon Correction Cancellation (Foreign LP) is a type of Oregon license plate issued to non-residents of the state. It is a special type of license plate that allows individuals to temporarily operate a vehicle in Oregon for up to six months without registering the vehicle in the state. It is available to non-residents who wish to use their vehicle in Oregon for business, education, travel, or other activities and can be applied for through the Oregon Department of Transportation. There are two types of Oregon Correction Cancellation (Foreign LP): Short-Term and Long-Term. The Short-Term Oregon Correction Cancellation (Foreign LP) is valid for up to six months and can be renewed every six months. The Long-Term Oregon Correction Cancellation (Foreign LP) is valid for up to one year and can be renewed annually. Both types of plates must be returned to the Oregon Department of Transportation when the individual is no longer using the vehicle in the state.
