The Oklahoma Athlete Agent Bond Form is a surety bond required by the Oklahoma Athletic Commission (MAC) in order to become a licensed athlete agent in the state of Oklahoma. The bond serves as a guarantee that the licensed agent will abide by the rules and regulations set forth in Title 74, Chapter 16 of the Oklahoma Statutes. The bond must be for a minimum of $25,000 and must be issued by a surety company authorized to do business in Oklahoma. The bond must remain active for the duration of the agent’s license. There are two types of Oklahoma Athlete Agent Bond Forms: the Standard Bond Form and the Limited Surety Bond Form. The Standard Bond Form requires the principal (agent) to pay an annual premium of 1% of the total bond amount, while the Limited Surety Bond Form requires the principal to pay a flat fee for the bond.
