New York Motion for Interpleader Disbursement is a legal process used to determine which party is entitled to receive money or property held by a third party. It is a form of litigation in which a third party, usually a bank, is asked to deposit funds into a court-controlled account in order to end a dispute between two or more parties over the same funds. The court will then order the third party to disburse the funds to the party or parties with the legal right to the money. There are two types of New York Motion for Interpleader Disbursement: Simplified Interpleader and Standard Interpleader. Simplified Interpleader is for cases involving up to $25,000 in dispute and can be used for both state and federal courts. Standard Interpleader is for cases involving more than $25,000 and is typically used in federal court.
