Nevada Instructions to the Constable are a set of guidelines and rules for Constables in the state of Nevada. These Instructions are intended to ensure the safety of the public, the preservation of the peace, and the proper execution of their duties. These Instructions include topics such as the powers and duties of the Constable, proper use of firearms, search and seizure laws, execution of arrest warrants, service of process, and the proper handling of evidence. They also provide guidance on how to handle incidents involving juveniles, domestic violence, and mental health emergencies. There are two primary types of Nevada Instructions to the Constable: General Instructions and Special Instructions.
