A Nevada WRIT of EXECUTION is a legal document issued by a court or other competent authority that orders the seizure of a debtor’s assets or wages in order to satisfy a debt. The writ is issued in response to a judgment creditor’s request for a court order requiring the debtor to pay a certain amount of money or property. There are two types of Nevada WRIT of EXECUTION: a general writ, which can be used to seize any and all assets of the debtor, and a special writ, which is limited to the property of a specific debtor. Both types of writs must be served upon the debtor in order to be effective. In addition, the writ must include a description of the property to be seized.
