The New Jersey Certification of Creditor Regarding Post Petition Payment History (Vehicle Loan/Lease) is a document issued by a creditor to certify that the debtor has made all payments due and owing on their vehicle loan/lease since they filed a petition for bankruptcy. This document is used to demonstrate to the court that the debtor has fulfilled their obligations on their loan/lease and is in compliance with the court's orders. There are two types of New Jersey Certification of Creditor Regarding Post Petition Payment History (Vehicle Loan/Lease): Type A, which applies to Chapter 7 bankruptcies, and Type B, which applies to Chapter 13 bankruptcies. Type A requires the creditor to certify that the debtor has made all payments due on their loan/lease since the filing of the petition, while Type B requires the creditor to certify that the debtor has made all payments due and owing on their loan/lease since the filing of the petition and all payments due from the date of the filing of the petition to the date of the filing of the certification.
