The Nebraska Order of Summons in Garnishment and Interrogatories (updated July 1983) is a legal document issued by a court in the state of Nebraska for the purpose of obtaining a judgment against a defendant. The document is available in two versions: a general summons and an interrogatories summons. The general summons requires the defendant to appear in court to answer questions about their assets and liabilities, while the interrogatories summons requires the defendant to answer written questions about their assets and liabilities. Both versions of the summons request the defendant to provide financial information such as bank statements, tax returns, and other documents related to their financial situation. In addition, both summons require the defendant to disclose any property they own or are entitled to, and any other property or assets they may have in their possession. The Order of Summons in Garnishment and Interrogatories also requires the defendant to identify all creditors and debtors, and to provide information regarding any liens or judgments they have against them.
