A Nebraska Order (Child Support — Contempt) is a court order issued by a court in the state of Nebraska that orders a parent to pay child support or face a contempt of court ruling. The Nebraska Order (Child Support — Contempt) is used when a parent has failed to pay the required amount of child support. There are two types of Nebraska Order (Child Support — Contempt): contempt of court and enforcement. In a contempt of court order, the court orders the parent to pay the overdue child support or face incarceration. In an enforcement order, the court orders the parent to pay the overdue child support or face wage garnishment, property liens, or other collection methods.
