Missouri Fair Housing — Consumer Guide is a resource for tenants, landlords, and homeowners to learn about their rights and responsibilities in regard to fair housing. The guide provides information on fair housing laws, tenant rights, landlord rights, and homeownership assistance programs. It also provides tips on avoiding rental scams, filing a housing discrimination complaint, and understanding the eviction process. The guide is available in both English and Spanish. There are two types of Missouri Fair Housing — Consumer Guide: the print version and the online version. The print version is a printed booklet which can be ordered or downloaded from the Missouri Department of Social Services website. The online version is an interactive website which provides information, resources, and links to other helpful resources.
