The Minnesota Amendment of Articles of Organization for Limited Liability Companies (LLC) is a legal document that is used to modify existing Articles of Organization for an LLC in the state of Minnesota. This document is necessary for an LLC to make any changes to its formation such as changing the name of the LLC, the purpose of the LLC, the registered agent, the registered office, or the members of the LLC. There are two types of Minnesota Amendments of Articles of Organization for Limited Liability Companies: the Initial Amendment and the Subsequent Amendment. The Initial Amendment is used when the LLC is first formed and changes the name, purpose, registered office, and registered agent of the LLC. The Subsequent Amendment is used to make any other changes to the LLC, such as changes to the members of the LLC.
